It is an equipment assembled with different elements such as an engine, an alternator, a bench, a fuel tank, among others, to transform thermal energy through fuels into mechanical energy and finally generate electrical energy thanks to the Law of Electromagnetism.

In its acronym in Spanish, it is an Uninterruptible Power System that is composed of a rectifier, an inverter, among other elements, which is constantly fed by one or more batteries to support the continuity of the supply of critical loads, in addition to deliver clean and regulated energy at its exit.

Batteries are the critical point of UPS’s. One of the most critical variables is the operating temperature (when it rises more than 25 degrees celcious the service life is shortened). Also when the depth and frequency of discharges exceed a certain number of discharge cycles or when the charging voltages are not well set.

In places where there is no physical space, when there is little server load, applications that need rapid implementation (1 week) and where it is necessary to save on infrastructure.
